NOTICE of THE FIRST
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE
MERRYLANDS BOWLING CLUB
WILL BE HELD IN THE GREENVIEW ROOM,
CORNER OXFORD & NEWMAN STREET MERRYLANDS
ON SUNDAY, 23rd JUNE 2024 at 10:00AM
BUSINESS
- To declare the result of the election of the Management Committee: (President, Vice President, & Four (4) committee person.)
- To declare the result of the election of the selection committee who shall consist of Five (5) elected selection committee members.
- To deal with any other business that may be brought forward as provided by the Constitution.
NOTE:
All members of the Merrylands Bowling Club (excluding employees of the registered Club and Junior members) shall be entitled to stand for office.
All members of the Merrylands Bowling Club (excluding employees of the registered Club and Junior members) shall be entitled to stand for Selection Committee.
All members of the Merrylands Bowling Club (excluding employees of the registered Club and Junior members) shall be entitled to vote at any meeting of the Merrylands Bowling Club.

NOMINATION FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM THE OLD RECEPTION DESK (ADMIN FOYER)
NOMINATIONS OPEN – 8:30AM SUNDAY 19th MAY 2024
NOMINATIONS CLOSE –5.00PM SUDAY 2nd JUNE 2024
NOMINATIONS MUST BE PROPOSED AND SECONDED BY A FULL FINANCIAL BOWLING MEMBER.
VOTING
VOTING WILL BE CONDUCTED BETWEEN TUESDAY 18th JUNE 2024 TO SATURDAY 22nd JUNE 2024 INCLUSIVE
BETWEEN 12pm-8pm EACH DAY AND WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE OLD RECEPTION (ADMIN FOYER).
ONLY FINANCIAL MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT SUSPENDED ARE ENTITLED TO VOTE FOR ELECTION OF THE BOWLS & SELECTION COMMITTEE. N.B. EMPLOYEES OF THE REGISTERED CLUB AND JUNIOR MEMBERS SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PROPOSE, NOMINATE OR VOTE FOR ANY BOWLS OR SELECTION COMMITTEE CANDIDATES.
